I would actually suggest a money clip, at least when you are going out. You'll have less that can be stolen and less that you can lose after a night of drunken fun.

I have recently begun using a cigarette case to hold the contents of my wallet. Its metal construction protects my cards from the standard edge bending that seems to come with wallets (especially with paper items like business cards), and its size/shape help to keep me from putting it in my back pocket (which as you may know, leads to poor posture and possible back problems).

It fits nicely in my front pocket, or in the chest pocket of my jacket. It also tends to make you stop hoarding things in your wallet, like extraneous receipts or stacks and stacks of business cards, making it easier to sort through and find things.

I use a Saddleback Leather small wallet, it has a 100 year warranty, and I can see myself using it forever, one cash slot and card slots on both sides, the pockets are snug so nothing falls out, and its extremely small and fits into pockets really easily. Only down side is that it's about $30.00.

I know that I run into the problem of having too many cards in my wallet. With my student ID, a couple credit cards, debit card, Sam's Club Card, Giant Eagle Advantage Card, etc. my wallet is massive. I got the Big Skinny Wallet. I bought it from Amazon. These things are amazing. They just fit so much stuff in them without the bulk you get with normal wallets. I paid $25 for it. Well worth the extra few bucks!
